We started our new fiscal year and saved the data (Accpac GL V6.1) to a different directory. I am having problems using Quick Report (V 6.2B), using date range, to print previously specified reports. Is Quick Report still referring to the old Accpac data and if it is how can I specify the new directory?

Which version of QR are you using? 62B is a Quik Reports for Windows version.

If you are using QR DOS, the QR data needs to be in the same data directory, with the same data extension as the GL data.

If you are using QR WIN, the only way that the QRW report will know about the new data directory is if you updated the Company information to include a path to the new location.

To troubleshoot this problem for either version of QR, you should print out the report definition and check for any formulas (selection or detail) that have date restrictions. You should also check the selection formula for any other restrictions.

For example, if you are reporting on Posted Transactions with the Source code AR-IN, you should print a Source Journal or a GL Listing in GL to check that there are some AR-IN transactions posted in the new year.
