Could you please tell me if somebody else having issues with record locking when creating new accounts in GL 9.2B while somebody entering AP 9.2B invoices that will end up on DIC errors if answer Cancel?

Or corrupted Invoice Batch when imported when others entering invoices as well?

Since I cannot recreate the scenario in house, I want to rule out environmental issue.

R&D got back to me on this and they believe it happened because, currently, the resource around the old account information file is being locked in AP by either printing the Pre-Check Register or possibly when doing a Revaluation. Because the old file is being locked, the old 8.0 compatible file is not updated, causing their integrity errors.

We will change the code so that the new account information file is locked in future.

This would also explain why neither of us could duplicate the scenario when invoices were being edited in AP and accounts were being copied/created in GL.

On the other hand "couldn't we just get rid of the old v8.0 capability file"? Trying to stay compatible with a 10+ year old version of Adagio is just wasting everyone's time and money (all of the time our client, us, and Softrak has spent on this issue).

We got another client having a message creating a GL account when using AP. We don't know exactly what in AP just yet.
