Versions in use: AL 8.0C (050321), OE 8.0A (050623)

Problem: When Ledger attempts to retrieve the OE transactions we get the error "The home currency of Adagio OE does not match the home currency of GL. This batch cannot be retrieved."

Troubleshooting: I checked some of the more obvious things like Data Integrity as well as the home currency setup in the GL and OE profiles and all appears to be OK.

I have found that if I were to retrieve the transactions in detail - before OE consolidates them - all is well. However, once we consolidate (and I tried two variations, by Account Code and by Date/Source Code/Account Code) the GL can no longer retrieve the batch, giving the error stated above.

This leads me to believe that "OE's GL Consolidation causes error in GL retrieval ?!?!"

For now I have suggested that they key the batch (consolidated version) manually in the GL and I have removed the 'OEGLBTCH.xxx' file from the sub-ledger.

Let us have your comments/suggestions asap.

I incurred the same problem. I was able to retrieve the batch in ACCPAC, yet I realize this is not an option for everyone. I am assuming we will see a patch.

Yes we are able to duplicate this scenario. Thanks for your patience and we will look into this.

All other Adagio applications do this successfully - it is just the current OrderEntry that has the problem.

Please let me know if you come across this problem and I will fix the OEGLBTCH file so that it can be retrieved. (There will be no charge)
