A client just did some upgrades and they are having a few issues that are uncommon to me.

[*]1. Datapath doesn't seem to stick. If the person logs out and tries to log back in they have to find the datapath again.

[*]2. Although the user has local admin rights and shared Adagio folder rights, once they print an invoice they get the error message "UNABLE TO WRITE\SOFTRAK\DATA". trying to get a screen shot of this.

Has anyone experienced this?

Hi Ishana:

I can't explain those 2 issues but I can suggest a work-around for the first one.

You could edit the shortcut on the user's desktop and add the following to the "Target" field after the name of the program executable: /dM:\Softrak\Data /eDAT (assuming that the data folder = M:\Softrak\Data and the data extension = DAT).

The data paths for each user are stored in the application's INI file. For instance, look at \Softrak\Payables\Payables.ini. If the user logs into Adagio as "IA", look for "[IA]" and IA's historical data paths should be listed.
