I am currently unable to do a Backup or a Data Integrity Check as there is apparently a user with Inventory open. I have checked all of our computers that run Adagio and there were no instances of Adagio being open other than the GL module I had open to do the Back-up from.
How can I fix the problem?

Does the message name the user? If so, try rebooting that user's workstation, otherwise you'll have to reboot the server.

It does mention the user...which is myself oddly enough.
I will try rebooting my machine, and if that still doesn't work, then I guess I will have to try the server.
