You may need to redo your workstation install.

Hi,
We saw the same message on a Crystal Reports Conflict today, and were able to isolate. This may occur, only in 9.2 modules.

Reinstalling may work but the issue that causes this error message is because in the c:\programs (x86) folder, the C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects folder has gone missing or did not get installed properly. Reinstalling may work but not always as we found out today.

If "SAP BusinessObjects" folder is present in the "Program Files (x86)" folder, then you need to rename the "SAP BusinessObjects" folder, and then go to the server folder where the Adagio was installed. The same applies if the "SAP BusinessObjects" is missing.

Under the x:\softrak\system\CR_InstallCommon folder is an executable called CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_9.msi. (assuming X: is your network drive where Adagio programs are installed). Right click on this executable and install as an administrator, (assuming that you have administrative rights) and have already taken the user account controls to the floor before doing the installation.

This will restore the Crystal reports for .Net framework 4.0, which is the cause for the reported error.

Best,
Brian

I hate to open an older topic, but we also are seeing this exact error in our environment.

In our X:\SOFTRAK\system\CR_InstallCommon directory we have the choice of
CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_9
CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_20
CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_25

What has worked for us is to right click the 0_20 module and run the uninstall.

Then we open one of the Adagio modules, such as Order Entry. This prompts the workstation installer again and we run the module install process. After this completes, the environment stabilizes again and seems to fix the problem. I couldn't figure out which installer is getting launched, the 0_20 or the 0_25, so I am still uncertain which version is creating the problem.

Hello Brian! Thanks for your tip, it helped the most in fixing this today

Hi, Tom,

Based on the CRRuntimes you have, I would drill down on the server and run the ... \Softrak\System\ChkSys.exe. that exists in the same Softrak program folder tree you're receiving the error in.

Running the ChkSys utility should detect that the Softrak reporting dll is some of your Adagio program folders is out of date and it should offer to fix the problem for you.

Installing IC9.3A installed a newer version of this and other files on your system.

If you want, open the InventoryReadme.chm file on one of your local Adagio workstations and take a look at any of the Upgrading to this Version, Installing Adagio Inventory or Important Notes topics. Each will talk about and reference the error you're receiving.
