A client has a list of Departments in FR. One Department (#772) is there 2 times and another Department (#773) is missing. The row where #773 should be has been replaced by #772 and its description.

Is there a way to force a refresh? If not, which file contains this information? Can I repair it with GV-RW or should I delete and recreate? Thank you.

Assuming that the GL passes the DIC and the duplicates are not the result of a damaged index, the list in the financial reporter is stored in GLDTREE.dat. This file will be recreated if it is deleted. It cannot be edited with GridView-RW.

Account groups and ranges will have to be recreated.

Just so you know, there was a problem in the Financial Reporter that shipped prior to 9.2A when editing multiple department ranges or masks could cause the corruption in GLDTREE that your client ran into. This has been fixed in Ledger 9.2A.

Support: You're correct that this client isn't on version 9.2 yet. That's an upcoming task.
