We are installing Adagio on a new server.
The install goes smoothly until it reached the point where the adagiopdf.exe file is being copied to the WS. At this point the system cycles and will not proceed.
Prior to this we had uninstalled the 3 adagio modules (AR,GL & AP).
Attempted to uninstall adagiopdf as well but this failed.
The user has admin rights.
At this point we are unable to proceed.

What versions of Adagio are you installing? What is the version of Windows on the workstation?

There have been a couple of other postings on this forum where the workstation did not like installing the AdagioPDF printer driver - which is what this EXE does. The workaround is (was) to rename the \softrak\system\AdagioPDF folder when doing the workstation setup.

In doing a bit or research, attempting to uninstall AdagioPDF from Windows may prevent reinstalling, due to Windows registry settings.

Also, we have seen workstation setup 'cycling' on Windows 8.1 workstations. Renaming the folder above was the 'solution', though it may be that the AdagioPDF printer driver is not installed - you should check this.

We are installing the latest versions of A/R, A/P and G/L.
