File integrity errors indicate a structural problem with the file. It could be the result of a hardware failure, power failure or some unexpected multi-user scenario. The Data Integrity Checker will correct these types of problems with a rebuild but there's a risk of data loss. Re-running the DIC will confirm that the errors are fixed. Application errors (the second part of the run) will check documents and let you know if something doesn't look right. Of course, your Adagio Dealer should be consulted before you rebuild or restore your data.
