I am trying to send a purchase order by e-mail and keep getting the same error.
Is my e-mail set-up wrong or what causes this error????

Hi Heather,

What version of Purchase Orders are you running? The image you attached has a title of 'Purchase Orders for Adagio', which would mean that it is at 8.1B or earlier. Is this the case?

Can you email anything else out of other Adagio programs? Perhaps this would help identify if this is a setup issue, or if more current versions of Adagio are able to handle your email setup. How is your emailing set up - MAPI or Direct? Is SSL encryption required for emailing? Current versions of Adagio can include this, and older versions cannot.

This error doesn't appear to be one that Adagio would return, but rather the system. Though it does have 'Purchase Orders for Adagio' on the window title.

This may be something that would be beneficial to have your Adagio consultant come alongside.

We are still using 8.1B for purchase orders

I am able to send e-mail from OE & AR and I can send either direct or mapi does not matter.

Just wanted to check why there is no port to choose when setting up e-mail in purchase orders???

E-mail set-up in OE, AR and AP all have a box to enter your port, but not in PO'S

There is no port because Purchase Orders for Adagio 8.1B is older and did not support this.

Does this mean until we have our new update for PO's we will not be able to
e-mail??

Yes.

And support for Purchase Orders for Adagio V8.1B ended May 31, 2015.
