Have an interesting issue. Upgraded a client's Receivables last week. No issues except this one and it only happens on one machine. If Receivables 9.2A (150410) is accessed on this particular workstation all runs fine in Receivables for the exception of Editing or Viewing Customers. When you go to either Edit or View the Customer in question Adagio Receivables freezes. You then have to Ctrl/Alt/Delete to get out and when you do the following access violation message appears:

"Access violation at address 00B5C9DF in module Receivables.exe. Read of address 00000C39."

It must be local to this workstation since the Editing or Viewing of Customers on other workstations on the network you do not have this issue.

We have also tried using different users on said workstation to see if it's a security issue and regardless of user (incl SYS) always freezes on this function.

We can go to Invoices and Edit/View the Customer list in this module without problem on said machine just this one function in Receivables on this workstation.

If any suggestions to what to look for be appreciated.

For what it is worth this is what the Receivables log on the server is showing. Just a repeat of what already has been posted above but thought I would pass along anyway.

Once you have removed the possibility that the form is not opening on a non-existent screen by selecting Window | Original sizes, I'd be inclined to blame bad RAM on that workstation.

Thanks Andrew. For what it is worth we logged into said workstation but used a different user to log into the network this time. Accessed Adagio Receivables as the original user and the Customer Edit/View freeze issue did not happen. I can only assume a network "rights" issue for this user? Although in some ways doesn't make sense since all other functions in Receivables work.

Anyway will give your reset Window issue a go anyways.
