I have reviewed the other messages about installation on Citrix. Install was successful as one user. Copied Crystal files from that user under Citrix to a second one. Install was then tested and printing preview was fine. Remote users access company's internet site, then login, then open Citrix connection.

Now have error messages:
When starting Adagio Recv on Citrix station:
Corrupt Install configuration. The install configuration for AR has a corrupted reports tables drive configuration. Re-install Adagio.

When running Chksys (on main server accessed through citrix connection)
Not set up in CRWin.ini for checking Report tables.

Installation working fine for people accessing through local workstations. Chksys run on one of those station reports no warnings or errors.

I'm assuming the you logged in the Citrix user with Admin rights and did a workstation install.

Sounds like he user on Citrix may not have the correct rights to either the program directories or the registry.

Hi Kate,

I can't respond to the Citrix/rights issues with total confidence, but let me give you some tips as to the 'Report tables drive' messages - regardless of the network setup. Perhaps one or more of these are associated with this install.

- When Adagio is installed, you are asked to choose a Report tables drive from a drop-down box. This choice is written to the ??-NET.INI file in the \wksetup directory. ?? would be AP, CR, AL or whichever 2-character program designation.

- When the workstation setup is performed, that value is written to the Windows registry on that workstation. Note that for Win 2000 and XP machines, the user who is logged into that station is important; other user logins won't be affected.

- In the ??WIN.INI file (\softrak\??win directory), there is a list of expected tables that the program wants to find. This list is also internally stored within the application.

- Of course, the QRW tables are installed to the QRASP directory, depending on the 'report tables drive' selection when you installed the program.
----
So to make a long story short, if you run the workstation setup and get a 'corrupt install configuration' message related to report table drives, then one or more of the above does not match the rest. That being the tables in QRASP, the registry setting for the path to QRASP, the tables listed in ??WIN.INI, and what's stored internally.

Recommendation? Doug's comment about rights is possible. Also try reinstalling the application while logged into Citrix (in case something didn't get 'copied over').

Thank you for your help. Network Tech was able to work out the problem - probably by opening up rights. What was making us crazy was that it would work once (when we tested it), but then not work the second time. He surmised that something in Citrix was keeping a file open, or some setting on a local machine was interfering.
