I can think of many reasons why the amounts are wrong. Have you just set up BankRec? When you say that "the Bank Rec differs from the bank statement by Opening balance", you need to be much clearer about what you think is wrong. Which two numbers are you comparing?
This is one of those problems that would be a lot easier to answer by looking at the data which means that it is very difficult to answer over the forum. Your Adagio Consultant would be able to help you with this by connecting online and working through the numbers with you.
