#45591 - 05/01/15 10:20 AM Cannot add or edit items in statement groups
bd Adagio Guru Registered: 11/29/01 Posts: 102 Loc: Peterborough, ON	I'm using GL 9.2A, (150119) and I'm trying to edit and/or add items into a statement group in Financial Reporter. However when I am in the item, I cannot tick or untick anything in the departments list nor can I tick anything in the sheet 1, 2 etc box. When adding without ticking anything the okay is still grayed out so I can't even save it. I've tried as myself with full rights and as sys. Is there some setting I'm missing? _________________________ Barb

I just tried again logged in as sys - it says System account in the active users list and I can get the item open and click on sheet 1 or a department but that doesn't select/unselect them and I can't click on the box beside the name either. Up and down arrows work. Selecting fiscal period or items below like expand smartsheet work. Everything works except for selecting or unselecting items in these boxes. _________________________ Barb

Other users with access to Maintain Financial Statements are able to create statement groups. If the non-SYS user has no department restrictions, they will automatically have access to all statement groups for which Allow Users have not been set (unless they have also been 'allowed'). Users, who have access to Print Financial Statements only are able to select functions which affect printing of a statement group only. Are you sure that you have launched "Edit Financial Statement" and not "Print Financial Statement"? _________________________ Andrew Bates

bd Adagio Guru Registered: 11/29/01 Posts: 102 Loc: Peterborough, ON	I was in edit, and in trying to get a screenshot to show you exactly where I was. I dragged the view statement group box onto my primary monitor - and it worked, I could tick boxes no problem. I drag it back to monitor #2, and it doesn't work. Don't know what that means, but it's working. Maybe this will help someone else. _________________________ Barb

Retired_Guy Adagio Master Registered: 03/16/99 Posts: 10504 Loc: Canada	Are your screens different resolutions? It is possible that Windows is having trouble deciding what you are clicking on. The "OK" button will not be enabled until a sheet has been chosen in the statement selected. I couldn't recreate the problem you describe. _________________________ Andrew Bates
