There is a field for "mobile phone" in CQ prospects, however, that field is not in AR customers. When an prospect is transferred to a customer it seems to disappear. Is there a fix for this?

Hi Susan,

The mobile phone number is stored not directly on the customer record, but in a different SalesCQ data file linked to the customer. If you edit or view the customer within SalesCQ, you will see the mobile phone number on the Customer tab. But if you view the same customer from AR or other applications, the Customer tab will not display the mobile phone.

Hi Support:

I'll interpret Susan's post to mean "It's a good feature that the cell-phone number is recorded because everyone has a cell-phone. Will this be added to the Receivables data structure in an upcoming release of AR?". And even if that's not what she meant, I think it's a good request. smile

Adagio Receivables supports multiple contacts for a customer. Each contact can have two phone numbers.

Since a cell phone is associated with an individual, rather than a company, why would you not place the cell number on a contact record.

If the cell number is the primary contact number for a small company, but they have a corporate switchboard, the swap the two numbers - placing the main number in a contact record.

Adding a field to the customer record requires updating all the modules that reference the customer:
  • Receivables
  • OrderEntry
  • BankRec
  • Invoices
  • SalesAnalysis
  • Time&Billing
if memory serves.

Hello Susan, Bruce and Retired Guy!

In the Receivables 9.3B (2022.07.08) Upgrade just released, new Cell Phone and Toll free phone fields have been added to the Customer tab of the Customer record and yes, SalesCQ Cell numbers do go into this field.
