HI,

I upgraded to Ledger 9.2 and now I can't access my custom reports. I saved the reports to Softrak/Ledger/CustomReports, and updated the custom reports menu, but it says that my reports are "not Adagio reports". These reports worked fine in the previous version of Ledger. It is likely that my reports were created using Crystal Reports 8.5 for Adagio. How do I upgrade to Crystal Reports 2011? I don't see it on your upgrades page.
Thanks,
Donna

Hi, Donna,

GL9.2 doesn't use the same version of Crystal that your custom reports are using. We don't sell that version of Crystal Reports and all of our 9.2A modules are moving to reports using the new runtime version of Crystal.

If your custom reports are using the Ledger 9.2A data and don't use the posted transactions, you can try either (a) dropping the reports into a CustomRP folder off of, say, Softrak\APWIN or (b) run PrintTool (this would be setup using PTSETUP within the Softrak\RPWIN folder for the old Crystal Reports) and point it to the custom reports you wan to run.

However, if neither of those suggestions work, you'll need to convert the reports using Crystal Reports 2011 or 2013 and Adagio ODBC. You'll probably want to involve your Adagio consultant to do this. There is information on how the process works in the Help | Readme help file available from your main Ledger menu.

Hi,

I ran into the same issue and tried both solutions above without any success.

I started by modifying the 3 reports that are found in my \Receivables\CustomRP folder to now work with the Adagio ODBC using Crystal Reports XI.
The reports DO work fine in Crystal Reports XI but I'm trying to find a way for my users to run, refresh and view them in Receivables.

I always had the CUSTOMRP folder but after upgrading to 9.2A the Menu Disappeared from the Receivable Reports Menu.

I do not have enough Crystal Reports licenses to install it on all my employee's computers.
The PrintTool does not work as stated above.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Install the reports in \Softrak\Receivables\CustomReports.

Please read the documentation supplied in the 9.2A release note and the technical note on our web site.

Thanks Andrew.

This works like a charm. I guess the folder name you use is no longer CustomRp

I also found the NEW print tool in the PrintTool folder, I was trying to use the old one as per the above post.

I do like the CustomReports Folder Much Better though, easier to surface for the user.

I did try to add a shortcut on my Desktop to one of my reports via the PrintTool but when I clicked on it, I got an error message that it can't find the report. The name of the report is truncated in the error window... not sure if that is related.

I renamed my report without spaces in it and it worked...

Thanks
Yann
