I attended the full day training seminar yesterday in Ottawa and it was mention that we should have a numerous amount of pre design financial reports (in folder SAMDATA) that we could use but I can't find them on our drive.
How can I retrieve them ?

where x: is the drive where your Adagio is installed. Of course, you need to have selected to install the sample data.

Thanks Andrew. I see the SAMDATA folder, but all documents there are .SAM which I don't know what they're for...the reports should be .DAT files right?
If we don't have them, is there a way we could download them or is there any other options ?

The .SAM files are the sample data files. With Ledger open the .SAM database then access the financial reporter to view the sample financial statements.

If you want to copy one of the sample financial statements to your live data then open your Ledger financial reporter and browse for the sample data. Open the financial statement you are interested in, select Save As and save the file to your data directory and change the extension to match your database.

Or use File | Import Spec or File | Import Workbook.

When in the Financial Reporter you may also use File | Import and browse to the Sample Data, choose the spec and import.

Now when you save it will be saved to your current data folder with the correct extension.
