Our client's domain is domain.bc.ca. This email as sender/return address doesn't work on Payables 8.1F 140409 and I can imagine it might not work in other modules either.

This is the first time that I see this issue and it has been fixed by redirecting the email using another address. However, I think, Adagio should work with email addresses that have more than one segment.

Are you sure that's the issue? Adagio's feedback for troubleshooting email failures is unhelpful so it could be something else.

I can successfully send test messages from the same module and from AR 9.1A 131105 to and from a multi-segmented return address that also ends in '@xxxyyy.bc.ca'.

The settings test doesn't give an error but it doesn't produce the test email either. We are going to try with a real email.

I have been sending emails from Invoices and AR for quite some time from a .bc.ca domain without problems.

However, I did find that my internet hosting firm was unhelpful, and had to direct the emails to the underlying Telus account.

In this case, they have an exchange server and we are using the generic outgoing mail shaw server
