Currently using Accpac plus with Tax Tables valid to year end current calendar year. Want to convert to a windows based payroll to integrate with Adagio. I have inventigated EasyPay and Paymate. Paymate has stated they can do a data conversion form Accpac Plus.
Does anyone have any experience good or bad with this?
Are there any other packages we should look at?

I have tried to convert to Paymate Acclaim, and ended up just importing the employees and entering the YTD figures because I could not get the import to work.

You might like to check out PayDirt Payroll. Great features - especially the integration with Adagio. It appears in Ledger 8.0 as a subledger batch to be retrieved, and the GL Chart of Accounts is available in PayDirt when setting up codes or distributing costs.

I have done a successful conversion from ACCPAC Plus. The only limitation I found was that I had to manually enter the Direct Deposit account info for the employees. (This is also required in PayMate.)

In both PayDirt and PayMate, the detailed EI hours info is not retained, so you should keep the A+ on hand for preparation of ROE's. (PayDirt uses HRDC's Laser ROE program, sending its data to that program but allowing edits first.)
