Gridview must be started from a shortcut with a /c on the command line:
The follow is from the Readme file.
/u Allows you to set a default user.
/p Allows you to set a default password.
/d Allows you to set a default data path.
/e Allows you to set a default data extension.
/c Allows you to edit and create new views.
/w Allows you to load a default Workspace.
NOTE: The /c parameter must be on your command line to be able to create and edit views. Do not specify the /c parameter for users who you want to only be able to display and refresh views. The entries on the Windows Start menu for Adagio GridView include the /c parameter by default. If you create a new shortcut for Adagio GridView, be sure to add the /c parameter if you want to be able to create and edit views. If you do not want the user to be able create or edit views, you must remove the /c parameter from the Windows Start menu.
