Is it possible to combine multiple purchase orders into one, or to add a requisition approval to an existing purchase order?

These are two separate questions.

You cannot outright combine two PO's into one, but you can merge them together as if they were one when receiving. In other words, you can receive against multiple POs in one step.

A PO by definition is an approved requisition. A requisition is an unapproved PO. To do what you want, create requisitions, not POs, and then turn them into POs thru the approval process.

Thanks Steve, I think what I want is not possible. I wanted to combine two PO's into one and send the supplier only one PO. The ideal situation is that I could auto generate a purchase order for a supplier and add one or more requisitions to it with the push of a button.

After creating a auto-generated PO you should be able to add items to it before sending to your vendor. Afterwards you definitely need to create a new PO. If your supplier then sends both as one shipment then you can combine the two PO's into a single receipt process.
