Why do you ask?

I'm curious since Adagio's alphanumeric, 6 character codes support 2,116,316,160 unique entries using digits and uppercase only characters, and can impart more meaningful information than just a number alone.

If you are hoping to use the vendor's telephone number as their vendor code (a frequent reason cited for 7 digits), you can look up a vendor by their phone number by pressing F5.

We recently converted our Policy Admin System and our Client IDN was assigned a new 7 digit number from the previous 6 digits which we duplicated for the Vendor Code. It would have been a very easy solution if Adagio did accept the 7 digits but there are other ways around our Policy Admin System feeding to Adagio.

OK - thanks. Too bad the other system went from 6 to 7. I wonder what prompted that change? Getting close to a million policies?
