Invoices 9.0B (111102)
OS Windows 2008 R2
Terminal server environment
Data integrity = clean

My client just moved to a new terminal server.
(She was previously on another TS environment).

All seems to be working ok except when she goes to print an invoice, it says:

Unable to load selected specification 's:\newdata\mms\qi$men~1.mms for document '44477'.

But - curiously enough, the invoice prints just fine. The error pops up after the print status is at 100%.

I logged in and was able to open the spec file.

This also only happens when clicks the Print Button -- if she previews and prints from the preview window, she does not get the error message.

Thoughts?

Many thanks,
Carol Openhym

Carol:

1. When you moved to the new server did you just copy the programs or re-install them. If you copied then I susgest you re-install.

2. Have the user rights re-applied to all Adagio program and data, files and folders.

Hi Carol:
I noticed that the error refers to the file by its shortname (qi$men~1.mms). Adagio stores the shortname internally, not the long name. It may be that the file has now acquired a different shortname on the new server (ie. qi$men~2.mms). I don't know how the operating system decides how to number the shortnames. You can see if this is a problem by doing the following:

*Go to DOS prompt
*Change to the data folder
*DIR /X/P
* Look for the shortname attached to your invoice file

The /X parameter will display the shortname for any files that exceed the 8,3 format.
