My guess is that you'll find that the file "GLGROUP.DAT" is missing from the dataset. This file contains the default account ranges, and is maintained in Edit |Account Groups.

Interestingly, neither the Adagio, or ACCPAC Plus data Integrity Check functions notice this. ACCPAC Plus does notice if you try and start the General Ledger. Adagio does not. I can e-mail you an empty GLGROUP.dat if you need it.

Hi Susan - the cause of this error could be that the path used to the dataset is a UNC or that the folder names have spaces. In other words, check to see that you use a drive letter instead of path that begins with ''\\' and that the folder name is Program_Files instead of Program Files.
