I wanted to view the check number audit list instead of print it and i selected "print" rather than "preview" so I hit the "job cancel" button on my printer and then I got a box on my screen that asked if I wanted to purge the information. I thought I selected "no" but I guess I selected "yes" and now all my check number information is gone and i am told there is no check number audit list to print. Is there any way to get this information back. Thanks for your help!!

Hi Sherri,

The data related to the Check Number Audit List is stored in the data file APCAUD.xxx and if you have a backup, you could restore this single file. Of course, this would not contain any checks posted since the data backup.

Other than restoring data files from backup, there is no way to retrieve purged posting journals or audit lists.
