Hi Lynn,

A hot fix for Adagio JobCost was recently released to address this issue. As Hot Fixes are not accessible to the general user public but just to Adagio consultants, your consultant was notified earlier today about your error.

There is no loss of data from IC to JC, but as you have found the retrieval does not complete.

thank you. Here's a question; If this is a known problem why isn't Softrak contacting clients that have these modules and correcting the issue? Free of charge! I don't expect to have to pay a consultant to correct an issue caused by Softrak. Just sayin'

Hello Lynn,

I don't think that any of our consultants would charge you just to provide the link to the Hot Fix.

However, if you need their assistance in installing the Hot Fix, then they may charge you for that service.

Our Hot Fixes do not have the same level of Quality Assurance that our Service Packs and Upgrades have. We fix the very specific issue brought to our attention, make sure that we haven't broken anything major, and build the Hot Fix. Everyone who we know has been affected by the problem is informed about the availability of the Hot Fix, with a link to the fix itself. It is their decision whether they feel confident enough to perform the work themselves.

Remember, not everyone interfaces Inventory with JobCost, and none of those organizations have even noticed that there's a problem. The bug you don't see is the bug that isn't there (old proverb).
