I am unable to print any GL reports in ledger we recently upgraded to ledger 9.0D 120207. I can print reports in all other modules. It seems to only be a problem on 1 workstation. Doesn't matter who I log into Adagio as I can't print.

What are the symptoms? "Can't print." is a bit vague.

I am trying to print or even view the trial balance report it goes through the motions but I never get a printout or a viewing.

  • Can you print from the Sample data?
  • Were there any messages during the install of the Upgrade?
  • Did you install the Upgrade from the Workstation that cannot print?
  • Did the workstation that you cannot print from ask to do a workstation install?

We did not try the sample data, but we tried printing from our other company's dataset (which normally works at other workstations), and it still refuses to print. The program was installed and the data was converted by our Adagio consultants so we're not sure exactly what messages came up during the install. The workstation can print in all the other Adagio modules, and only experiences issues in GL.

Another interesting note: we are able to preview and print the chart of accounts, but unable to do the same for Trial Balances and Detail Listings.

Can you preview the report? Are you using Adagio ePrint?

According to your response you can not preview Trial Balance or Detail Listing, so this is not a printer issue.

ePrint? Did you by chance download and install the ePrint Sampler?

The symptoms you describe are almost always the temp folder, either it has something in it that it shouldn't or your rights to the folder have been restricted. Less likely, but still a possibility, is the fact that the install of Ledger has been disturbed in some way. Beyond this it will be difficult to troubleshoot this further in the forum.
