We are adding fields to the Customer Transaction grid.
The problem is that a few of the columns are too narrow, while others are too wide. No problem – we simply adjust the columns.

But the issue here is when we close the grid/screen and come back to it, Adagio does not maintain our adjusted column widths.

How do we manage this?

After you have made the adjustments, open the Grid editor and click "Ok" to give Adagio a chance to save the settings.

Have you considered simply saving whatever settings exist when the grid is closed? While every Adagio user should know about, and use, the Grid Editor, there are a large number that don't. And even those that do know wouldn't automatically think to open and close the Editor to save their settings. There must be a large percentage of Adagio users who position their grid just perfectly and then find to their disappointment that the settings have reverted when they next open the screen.

There's a technical reason why this cannot be done without an enormous amount of work. It is the Column Editor control that saves the settings, so we'd have to add code to every form in Adagio that contains a grid (almost every form) in order to have Adagio do that. That's why we demonstrated this very fact at every Boot Camp held across Canada this fall.
