Can someone point me to the table that contains the "additional comments" field? I am trying to create a Gridview report that contains the customer number, name and additional comment.

I realize there is a Customer Notes standard report, but it will only print the additional comment field if the customer has a regular note included on the report.

Sounds like a bug.

The additional comment is stored with the regular notes (Customer Notes Details), and a note number of zero.

What version(release) of Receivables are you using? Do you have the 'Print additional comments' option enabled on the print window for this report? I'm using AR9.0C(120224) and have no trouble printing Additional Comments for customers that have no note details.

I was wrong, the standard Customer Notes report does print additional comments for customers without notes, but there is no way to print ONLY additional comments and no notes.

You pointed me in the right direction. It's not that the note number has to equal zero, it's that the last six characters of the Note key must be "000000".
