I am trying to close year end in AR, but it tells me a cash batch needs to post, but there are none to post. I ran integrity and everything is fine. Is there something else I can try.

Hi Pat,

What version of Adagio Receivables are you using? You can check the Help / About menu for the version and release date.

If integrity is clean, what does the Batch Status report or inquiry indicate for cash batches? Perhaps something is listed there that does not appear on the Edit Cash Batch list. Though this would appear as a data integrity error.

And just to confirm, is Year End expecting a cash batch to be posted, or a cash posting journal to be cleared? The posting journal scenario tends to be more common because the file was not cleared when it should have been.

You probably will need to get your Adagio consultant involved.

We are running version 9.0B for AR
I found a batch listed under batch status that is $0 and shows open. It has a date of 27A/08/2011 under created by and a date of 27/08/11 as date created. Our year end is Sept 30, so this batch is from the previous year end.
Year end is expecting a cash batch to be posted.

I can only see the batch in the reports, but it is not available to delete.

If you cannot print and purge the batch status report to resolve this, then you will need to get your Adagio Consultant involved, as the data is out of synch and corrupted, regardless of the clean status that DIC is giving you.
