One of our plants runs its own Adagio database apart from the rest of the company. For this particular plant, the sales history in the Item Inquiry window has not been posting. Not a single part shows history in the item inquiry, even though the Transaction History tab shows there has been activity.

What could be causing this?

Run period end processing in IC at every period end to update sales history.

We are running the period end. Still no history.

Any other ideas?

What versions of Adagio are being used at this satellite plant?

Since there are many different places in Adagio where 'Sales history' is kept (statistical history by period stored on the item, Inventory transaction history, Order Entry history, Sales Analysis, etc), could you indicate which sales history you mean, which process and tab you are on and looking for information?

If you run Order Entry, most of the sales history in various places will be generated from running Day End Processing, provided that you are running a reasonably current version. Older versions of Order Entry require printing and purging the Invoice/Credit Note Audit Lists in order to populate IC Transaction History and Sales Analysis.

Not only does IC Transaction History require to be enabled as Patricia indicated, but it also can be purged when printing the transaction history report within inventory. To make sure this doesn't happen by accident, an IC profile option allows disabling the purging part of the history report.

If you run Adagio Invoices, a shipment batch must be imported in Inventory in order for the IC transaction history to be updated. Reasonably current versions of Inventory will post directly to history, and older versions require printing and purging the shipments audit list report.
