Two questions from a client...

If you turn on the setting to Check for Duplicate Reference, will it only warn you about a duplicate for the same customer, or for all customers?

Is there a way to print a pick slip for an order that is On Hold without having to take it off hold first? There is a business reason why this is important for the client, but it's a long explanation having to do with 3rd party warehouses.

Hi Steve,

1) The duplicate reference checking is for the same customer. You can choose to allow the duplicate reference or not for that customer. You are not warned if the reference exists but for a different customer.

2) In the Company Profile on the System Options tab, about halfway down the left-hand side is an option to 'Allow printing of On Hold orders'. Note that this not only allows printing Pick Slips for orders without removing the On Hold status, but also allows printing Order Confirmations. This option was added to OE8.1B in March 2008.
