We were looking at this feature and wondering if it is possible to have a variation such as warning if available is below zero when entering the qty ordered. Further more, it will be very useful if it warns that the available qty has reached the minimum qty to reorder.

This feature would be enabled only in sites where there are multiple users and they need to notify right the way that they need stock to deliver an order.

As you noted, the features in Adagio Order Entry for 'Warn if IC quantity below zero' and 'Warn if available below zero' are triggered only when shipping (invoicing) items, and not just when ordering. These work in conjunction with the Inventory option to 'disallow negative quantity'.

I presume that your suggestion would be to only warn the order entry staff that the ordered quantity would put the quantity on hand (at the location) in a negative position, and not actually prevent the person from taking the order from the customer. And that the order entry staff is the quickest person that can pass along purchasing requirements.

Almost anything is possible with software and I can pass the suggestion along to development.
