Dear DHB,

You did not state what started your investigation, but if your Adagio Ledger batch entries seem to be duplicated in the batch, make a backup and then run an integrity check on the ledger data. Some issues can be resolved by the integrity check.

You did not mention which error message you received when editing the batch. The error message itself is important since often it can help to determine the nature and origin of the problem. When you get such a message please write it down for future reference. Other information such as the version you are running would also be helpful to those trying to resolve the issue.

The TRX count refers to the number of transactions.

Best Wishes.

Hello DHB:

I would be interested in seeing if we see the same behaviour here with your data. If you'd like us to take a look, select File | Backup and create a ZIP of your data. Email it to me and I'll see if we notice the same symptoms.

BTW - you have checked the data integrity, haven't you?

Hello DHB,

My understanding is that you tried to import some transactions into a batch and that import might or might not have been successful. Then you went into those batches and did manual data entry into them. The transaction count was then wrong. Is this correct?

After checking the integrity, if errors are detected, Adagio will usually enable the "Rebuild" button in the DIC. If you have a current backup of your data, you can select "Rebuild" and your data might be fixed. You would run another DIC just to make sure.

For one or two transactions, I'm sure it would be faster just to re-do the data entry. However, I'm interested if there is a problem with import.

Hello DHB,

The double entries in the display are caused strictly by the integrity error. If you clicked "Rebuild" and the error was fixed, the funny display would go away.

Glad everything's under control...
