Invoices 9.0B 20111220

We have two clients that have reported Invoices going missing from an invoice batch.

One of them thinks that it happens when checking other batches when entering an invoice.

The other thinks the it happens for a particular client.

However, we haven't been able to recreate the issue and they don't recall the exact steps they took when that happened.

Does any body have experience the same problem?

Do you mean that they disappear from the batch entirely, or that they are not posted when the batch is posted?

They disappear from the batch before posting.

I received this related email from a client on 8/27, which is still an outstanding issue. They are using version 9.0B (111220)

(from the client - excuse the typos and incomprehensible phrasing)
We are having and issue. During invoice posting.

1 Invoices are moved as a group from archive to invoice batch.

2 Only the date is change on individual invoices by entering into the invoice itself (Not the increment function).

3 During the post we have had :
A Some disappear
B Some invoices move back to the archive batch
C Invoices in the middle of the batch switch invoice number

After issue is found a DIC is ran with no error or corruption

Have you looked at the Deleted Invoices Audit List report in Invoices? It reports the status of invoices or credit notes that have been deleted, moved, etc. within open/current batches. It reports when an entire batch has been deleted or moved also. It doesn't report on archive invoices/batches though. The invoices would have to disappear within a current batch prior to posting.

This is what on of our clients reported; I removed the customer names:

I ran the report (Deleted Invoices Audit List) and looked it over but didn’t see any of the invoices that had disappeared.
Previous Adagio incident details:
The first incident I’m not sure how it happened but two Client A and Client B invoices were combined into one.
Second: There were 2 invoices in the batch the second one was Client C. I created a new Client B invoice and the Client C one disappeared.
Third: A Client D invoice disappeared (the third of 4 in a row of Client D invoices) in its place was a Client B invoice with an out of order (higher) invoice number.

Patricia, I ran into something like this a few years ago when I accidentally gave two computers on a network the exact same name in Windows. (I was calling them System1, System2, etc. and lost count.) They worked fine when only one was logged in, and appeared to work when both were in use, but screwed up in unpredictable ways.

It's something to check at least.

One of sites for sure doesn't have another computer with the same name or user in Adagio. It also occurrs when there is nobody else in the system.
