I know if I check under the Help section I can find out how many licenses are in use, but is there any way in Adagio to tell which users are currently logged in. In ACCPAC System Manager I can go to Network Status for a list - is this feature anywhere in Adagio?

Dear Bd,

The current software does not have anything “built in” to enable you to determine which users are currently running Adagio.

However, this seems a good idea for our “suggestion box”. When there is a feature you hope may be implemented in future versions of the software, please let us know. All such suggestions are greatly appreciated.

To add to this, you can see how many of the Adagio Lanpak licenses are in use from the Help | About screen. If you have a 5-seat Lanpak installed and 2 of the licenses are in use, you will see '2 of 5' displayed here.

Because of our Lanpak licensing model, this won't provide an accurate count of the number of users in Adagio, nor who is using which program. Without a System Manager, this is a little more difficult in Adagio.

If you ever attempt a process in Adagio and are prevented from doing so, typically the message will indicate which user is locking the process.

Hello bd:

You will see this feature in upcoming versions of Adagio. Softrak people want it too!

The backup process doesn't indicate who or what modules others are using, either at first, when it warns you there are other users, or later when there is an error because a file is in use.

But I am glad to hear that you are working on it and I hope to see it soon in a future release.
