In AP 8.1C (100810) we can only calculate balance as of the last clearing date. Is there any chance that in future Adagio AP releases that will be able to calculate the balance of a date prior to the last clearing date?

Since we need to calculate this report as of our year end date of March 31, it is not possible to do so after we close and clear the period at the end of April. This does not give us enough time to have all our entries done. We prefer not to leave April open, but there's not a good alternative at this time.

Yes, the addition of his feature is planned (in the same way its available in Receivables). Our internal solution (at Softrak) is not to clear the transactions. You can hide the paid transactions on the manual check display, and they don't affect the system check run.

We are limited to what we can do in Payables until we move to Adagio PurchaseOrders.

Since I only need this at our year end, I won't complain about this issue again until this time next year. Hopefully everything will be updated by then.

Has this additional feature been added yet?

I'm not tech support but I believe can answer this question -- it's my understanding that this feature will not be available until they migrate AP to version 9.0. This will consolidate the transactions into one table instead of two (History and Current.)

They cannot make this move until development of the new of Adagio PO is completed. This is because they cannot break compatibility between PO and AP.

Perhaps Andrew can give us a "guestimate" / ETA?

Far enough that we are considering a Upgrade to Adagio Payables in areas that would not impact the compatibility with Purchase Orders for Adagio.

Hi Andrew, I'm hoping that the new POA Goods Received Voucher will have a column for Vendor Item #. We don't currently have that although I suppose it could be added, but I don't want to spend a lot of time on it since the new version is coming. Vendor Item # makes it easier to match up the receipt with the Vendors invoice.
