Trying to set up a new year for 2012. My yearend for 2011 was Jan 1, 2012 so when I go to set up a new year for 2012 it sets up 2013. Essentially skipping 2012. Is there any way to manually over ride this so it sets up 2012?

Sorry, but Adagio Ledger always uses the year of the final period to designate the fiscal calendar. Your Adagio consultant may be able to force the calendar to 2012- if you refrain from posting anything after creating the new year. Is the problem that the year was incorrectly specified for the current year? After all, it's "for the year ending 2012".

My fiscal year last year was from Dec 27, 2010 to Jan 1, 2012. So 2012 was in the ending date, even though the above dates reflect my 2011 fiscal year.

Try again on a backup, but before creating the new year, change the current FY ending date to 12/31/11 instead of 1/1/12. If it works, afterwards go back and re-set the ending date (and the period 1 starting date) to the dates you really wanted.

Well, there are some tools out there that your Adagio Consultant has access to that could force the year designation to be "2012-" for you, but there's no way within the program to do that at the moment.
