The Customer Transaction report in Adagio Receivables utilizes a temporary file when the report is run. This is because the Current and Historical transactions need to be merged, and also this makes the report run faster.

There are 3 likely reasons for getting the 'error 1011' when running this report.

1) Your system is not set up for the user to have proper rights for creating data files.

2) The data has become corrupted.

3) The temporary file was not cleared properly from before, and when you try to run the report now and the temp file is created, it cannot because the file already exists.

More likely the problem is the latter.

Try running the report on sample data. If this is successful, you can be sure that the problem exists with your data. Perhaps you need to run a Data Integrity Check to make sure everything is clean.

I believe the names of the 3 temp files that are created are: ARGDTT'I.DAT, ARGDTT'R.DAT, and ARTRNT.DAT. If you have any of these 3 files, rename them and try again. It's better to rename, rather than simply deleting, just in case.
