The Adagio REVISED Receivables Upgrade V9/0C (111209) will not allow me to run an Aged Trial Balance in either of our companies. I have done the DIC and corrected all errors. I have also tried to generate this report in the Sample Data, again with no success.

We have also reinstalled the software, but this did not solve the problem.

The error received reads as follows:
Error:120 Lookup item not found :: Formulas.Name := CompanyName.

I am able to run both the Overdue Receivables and the Projected Receivables reports without difficulty.

Help please.

I can confirm that I get the same error on sample data running AR 9.0C 111209.

It's working for me. Warren, could you post a screen shot of the report options you've selected to generate the error? Is ePrint installed?

I didn't change anything from the defaulted report options, eprint is installed but not forced.

This 'error 120' is typical of a mismatch between the program and the report, often due to an installation problem. A required file was not overwritten by an upgrade because of incorrect file dates. What are the file dates of the Receivables.exe (in \Softrak\Receivables - Dec 13, 2011) and the CRAGETRL.RPT report (\Softrak\Receivables\StandardRP - Sept 15, 2011)?

Also, do you use a Modified version of the Aged Trial Balance Report? You can tell if there is a \Softrak\Receivables\ModRP folder and the same CRAGETRL.RPT file within. If you do use a modified report, the modifications need to be re-done to the most current report.

This error is occuring more often. I don't believe its restricted to any specific module or version though AR seems to be common to all occurances and updating an outdated ModRP seems to be the most common solution.

The my most recent case (today and as yet unresolved) there has been no updates to anything for over a year except the replacement of the workstation that is having this problem (and only the new workstation is having this problem). Apparently no report can be printed from any module. We were not called in to setup this workstation so we are waiting to get our hands on it. I'll post an update when known.

NCC & Warren: Look for and move to a temporary location the following ModRP folders x:\softrak\crwin\modrp and x:\softrak\receivables\modrp. If this solves your problem then start looking at the contents of the ModRP folders for an out of date report. If this doesn't solve the problem then it's an installation issue (module or workstation setup is something that can only be determined hands on by comparing actual installed files to what should be installed).

My issue was indeed related to having an outdated report, thanks. Finding the correctly dated report to replace the copy I was using resolved the error and allowed the report to be printed.
