I have A/P 8.1C and having problems printing. I print my manual check batch and all goes well. I attempt to print check audit list and check reconciliation and I get this error message: System error, Code 1722. the RPC server is unavailable.

Hi Mabel,

That error message is not being returned by Adagio. Do you get the same error if you Preview these reports rather than print? How about when printing to a different driver, such as the AdagioPDF printer? If not, the problem is with your printer.

When I Googled the entire error message, I found many references to this and they were related to print spooler problems.

I checked the spooler in Control Panel, Services to ensure that it is ok. Tried printing again and same problem. I can print one item and then when I try to print again, error message says "Access violation at address 00839D10 in module 'APWIN.exe'. Write of address 0000005D. It freezes up and i must soft boot to get out. The only thing done differently was a Windows update at the end of the day yesterday. I have Lexmark E360dn printer.

The problem is fixed. I shut the power off on the printer and then the printer icon showed up on bottom taskbar and I deleted the print jobs.
