I sent an email to support@softrak requesting information regarding Excel Quik Link, and did not receive a response. Is there another way to contact them or can you answer my questions.

My question is does Excel Quik Link allow for data to be pulled directly from Adaigo for individual jobs into separate pages in Excel so a total page can be created in Excel. We have many jobs with different calculations for each job (based on the department name) and require a total page for a selection of these jobs.

Is there a demo that can be downloaded for Excel Quik Link?

Thanks!!

Hello McNeill & Co. Inc.,

Presumably you sent it to "support@softrak.com", but I can answer this. Yes, you can do this with Quik Link for Excel. Your Softrak Business Partner has a copy of the product at his/her disposal. For Job Costing, there were many problems with the "Data Dictionaries" that ACCPAC shipped with the product. You may encounter problems linking Quik Link to a Job Costing dataset. We will try and assist you if you run into this.

Thank you for your response. Just some clarification. We are not using job costing module. We are use departments to track jobs. Will this still work.

By the way, we did contact the business partner and he said that it wasn't worth the expense. Is there a way to get a demo.

thanks!

Hello McNeill & Co. Inc.,

If you are trying to create specialized financial statements from figures being maintained in the Ledger, then Adagio Ledger is the way to go, unless the numbers are coming from separate Ledger datafiles.

If you send me an Excel spreadsheet as a sample of what you are trying to accomplish, I am happy to provide a demonstration of how to accomplish this in the Adagio Financial Reporter. In terms of "extraction power", the only difference between Adagio Ledger's Financial Reporter and Quik Link is that Quik Link can access multiple dataset simultaneously.

Oh yes, I'm happy to e-mail an eval copy of Quik Link to you if you'd like, unfortunately I do not have your e-mail address on file.
