Receiving this error message when opening POA (any dataset):

Error occurred while attempting to lock the resource IRGLOB.
Invalid Task Handle.

Running under Windows7

Ideas?

What is the precise version of POA you are using? A 'Purple' release or one since Softrak acquired it?
Is this the first time you are using POA on this workstation? If not, did this work before?
Can other workstations use POA successfully?
Sample data has the problem as well?

We're not aware of this error message. The program is trying to see who else is in the company profile on sign on and can't see it, at least as far as the resource locking is concerned.
Perhaps try removing the ADSPROF data file and recreate it - and ensure that the EZTASKS.LD4 file is where you think it is.
