Guys just realized that the PO Requisition item look up does not give me a search on description, is there a way i can modify same.

In the item lookup window, right click on the column headings row and select Show/Hide Columns. From the Customise columns window, locate and drage the Description column onto theitem lookup window.

I did that but, I still can not search on the item description, similar to how I search for a Vendor and inventory items in the other modules.

This works the same as in other modules.

Using sample data as an example, in the 'Item number' field, press F6 to invoke the Smart Finder. Make sure the item Description field displays in the window. If it doesn't, use POs Column Editor to add it. As in other modules, select the Description field to be searched on. Perhaps select 'Containing' and use 'Bike' as the value, then Enter.

Thanks, it now works fine. Trick was where and how to add the description field.
