I had to upgrade to Windows 7.
Is there any way easy way to update all my cheque specs.
Same printer but probably new drivers.
I was using XP before.

Thanks

Are you experiencing a problem? The cheque specs shouldn't need to be changed.

However make sure that Windows 7 is using the same "Measurement System" as was your XP computer. If it was "U.S." (meaning inches) before, make certain that your new computer is too (Control Panel | Region and Language | Additional Settings button, look for "Measurement System").

Then test print a cheque and let us know if there are any problems.

Thank you.

I have confirmed that the regional settings match. They do.

I have an HP LaserJet P2015dn.

The cheques are offset to the left and too short. It looks like they are "zoomed".

Hi,

Access Control Panel | Region and Language | Administrative and make sure that the Language for non-Unicode programs is set to the same setting as it was on the XP workstation.

Large fonts aren't supported by Adagio specs so you'll want to make sure your Display settings are not using them, particularly the DPI settings should be 96 pixels per inch. If enabled, disable the 'Use Windows XP style DPI scaling' option.

If your screen fonts appear to be too small for you, adjust and reduce your resolution.

These types changes are often necessary when a workstation is changed to Win7 and the spec was created on an earlier OS workstation. In these cases, the spec prints pushed up, say, the left side of the page. If however, these things have been done and the spec has been edited, perhaps you need to just edit the spec and select File | Specification Options and revise the left margin a bit.

Where do I check the Uni-Code Settings?

Where do I check the DPI settings? (I have small icons).
What does the Display setting have to do with the print?

Maintaining cheque spes is slow and tedious. I am trying to avoid it.
