We are using OE 8.1C second month. Since ubgrade we experiencing the following issue:

After retrieving OE and AR transactions we find out that AR clearing balance is not equal to zero. The additional analysis shows that variance was the invoice discount(s), invoice amount not posted properly to clearing account. However, OE does proper calculation on "total" tab of the invoice (Net Amount - 31,638.45). Please see details of retrieved transactions below:

Accounts Receivable - Clearing Details

Is this known problem? Is there a fix? Is this issue related to our installation/configuration only?

This is not a know issue. Given that v8.1D was released 10 months ago you might want to try upgrdaing, including the most current service pack.

Would be nice to know for sure if developers are aware of this issue and it was fixed in 8.1D before I do an upgrade.

The release notes would be available from a link in the email sent to you by SOftrak announcing the v8.1D upgrade (last November I believe). You can also access the release notes from Softrak's website http://www.softrak.com/products/releases.php

No fixes were mentioned in OE 8.1D release notes related to issue I described in my original post.

As it's not a known issue, this type of issue is really difficult to track down over this forum. Personnally I would want to see the data and trace the transactions to figure out where it's going wrong.

The best way to resolve this might be to get your Adagio consultant involved.
