Since the recent update, we cannot print or preview batch jobs. Is there a known fix to this issue?

Perhaps you could mention which module you're referring to, and exactly what you mean by "cannot print"?

We run Adagio Ledger 9.0D (110629) on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard.
Since running the upgrade to 9.0D – When trying to print from the Reports Tab (Batches, Source Journals, Trial Balance, Detail Listing and General Reports), after clicking print, the create work file is processed and then you see initializing printer and printing report. The screen then goes to my regular blue background and no report is generated. This happens no matter if the printer destination is printer, screen or file. Printing financials from Adagio Financial Reporter (LEDGERFINREP.EXE version 2.1.1.1839) works normally.

Are you running Adagio in a Terminal Server session?

Hi Schindler -

Have you gotten this issue resolved. We encountered a similar problem after we upgraded the BankRec module to 8.1C recently. We could no longer print or preview reports on a Windows server 2008 machine while printing/previewing reports in AP and GL work fine. Printing/previewing in BankRec on Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2003 machines work fine though.

Hi, Janelle,

Sorry, neither Schindler nor I marked this problem as resolved and I should have.

When logged into the Terminal Server the c:\Windows\Crystal folder had to be copied to %userprofile%\Windows\Crystal. I would be very interested to know that this works for you also.

Hi Softrak,

We were awaiting "specific details" from Janelle as to the exact configuration of her installation as she seems to access the Adagio installation in a number of different ways, some of which were OK and some were not. To date we had not received the info.

I'll email your reply above to make sure she sees it asap.

Thanks, Pete

Hi Support -

Thanks for the solution!! I copied the Crystal folder to one user's profile so far and the reports printed/previewed ok. Will proceed to test for all other users.

Thnx again!

Hi, Janelle,

Perfect. Thanks for the update. Say, would you confirm your Server operating system (where the Adagio programs are installed) as Server 2003, Server 2008 Standard or Server 2008 R2, as well as the Terminal Server operating system? Are they separate servers or one and the same?

Thanks,
