I recently processed a manual cheque batch and sent the the batch EFT to Telpay and all seemed fine until I opened Telpay and all of my payments were invalid ( it was a complete red screen). After contacting Telpay they informed me that all payments came through with 00000000 as the invoice number and 18991204 as the date. Help! I am not sure where I went wrong. My batched showed the invoice numbers and each invoice had a current date.

Hi,

Can you confirm the 'payment type' being using in the manual check batch? Is it a Cash Invoice or a Payment?

Th payment type is a cash invoice

Hi, Merci,

If a Cash Invoice is used in a manual batch, the date and amount of the cheque in the TelPay EFT file is incorrect. I've reported this to R&D.

I believe your dealer was going to edit the existing EFT file for you.

In the meantime, please use a payment type of Payment within a manual check batch.
