I spent an entire afternoon adjusting Paymate Acclaim 5.8 to align the text to print correctly on the blank cheques we print from Adagio Payables. It works correctly now from my workstation, but when we print cheques from another workstation the date field is printing more condensed and using a different font. I've compared all the adjustment settings and preferences on both computers and they are the same. Does anyone know how to correct the date print problem on the second computer?

I realize this is 3rd party software so I will call their tech support as well but thought someone else here might have experienced this. We have found Paymate to be quirky and inconsistent when printing. When doing our year end we had many unexpected results when printing reports. Sometimes a completely different report would print than the one you selected.

Any help or input would be very much appreciated!

Have you made sure that the other workstation has the font for that field installed? Is it using EXACTLY the same version of the printer driver?

It does seem to be a font issue. I'm going to try installing all my fonts to the other workstations since Paymate was unable to tell me what font is being used for the date. Strangly it is a different font for that field than the rest of the cheque.

Check the following are the same on both (all) systems:
-Windows/Control Panel/regional settings - usually English (United States)
- Display fonts - Small or Normal.

Intalling the fonts worked! Yeah!
