Hello,
My client is trying to do Allwkst on a new Windows 7 workstation. She's getting this error message:

Invalid qrasp\qrtables.ini. Report drive F does not have the Adagio Receivable tables installed.

All mappings are consistant across all workstations. It is also happening with Ledger.

We tried going to the individual setups for each program but got the same thing. How annoying.

I've searched the forum and have seen a number of similar issues but not quite the thing.

Many thanks as always,
Carol

There could a number of reasons why this error could occur:

- The tables are not there. The error would occur for all workstations and likely not the problem here.
- The user of the workstation does not have rights to the F:\qrasp directory. This is required. Can this error be duplicated from a different workstation?
- The tables are there but have the wrong date, due to an install error. This error would only ever get noticed during a workstation setup, rather than actual use of the program. Compare to F:\softrak\system\qrasp\ar directory.
- If Crystal Reports for Adagio was recently installed or re-installed, it's possible that the qrtables.ini file got wiped out. If this file/directory was not backed up prior to the Crystal install, you would need to reinstall Receivables and Ledger programs to replace missing information.

Because the problem happens for multiple Adagio programs, I suspect some sort of rights issue.

If none of the above solves the problem, we may need to connect rather than going back and forth on the forum.

Carol,

I had this happen on a new Win7 workstation the other day.

Softrak tech support recommended just re-installing the programs from the station. I installed the appropriate upgrades (which required both the new and old codes) and this worked just fine.

Maybe we should all a send nasty letter to Redmond Washington frown
